Jonathan Lindhorst ist ein Berliner Saxophonist und Komponist, der nicht nur ein aktives Mitglied der Berliner Jazz- und Free-Improvised-Music-Szene ist, sondern auch regelmäßig in New York und in seiner Heimat Kanada spielt. Er leitet nicht nur sein kanadisches Projekt The Limerence Quartet, sondern ist auch Mitglied von Innocent When you Dream: Die Musik von Tom Waits, Ear Conditioning, The Berlin Soundpainting Orchestra und verschiedenen anderen Berliner Kollektivprojekten. Lindhorst trat an zahlreichen Veranstaltungsorten und Festivals in Nordamerika und Europa auf, darunter das North Sea Jazz Festival, das Montreaux Jazz Festival und das L’Off Jazz Festival in Montreal.
Jonathan Lindhorst is a Berlin based German-Canadian saxophonist and composer who is not only an active member of the Berlin jazz and free improvised music scene, but also plays regularly in New York and in Canada. In addition to leading his Canadian based project The Limerence Quartet, he is a member of Hover Trout, Fake Noise, Innocent When you Dream: The Music of Tom Waits, The Berlin Soundpainting Orchestra, and various other Berlin based collective projects. He has also appeared on numerous recordings and in 2016 debuted as a leader and with his album “Limerence”.
